About the Show
The Paradise City Arts Festival in Northampton is New England’s most exciting and prestigious show of fine and functional art. Taking place during Memorial Day weekend, this event attracts strong attendance, an educated clientele and extraordinary media coverage.
Located on Interstate-91 just 15 minutes north of the Massachusetts Turnpike, Northampton is under an hour from Hartford, the Berkshires and southern Vermont; under two hours from Boston, Albany and southern Connecticut; less than three hours from New York City. Paradise City Northampton is a cultural, dining and shopping destination for visitors from all over the Northeast.
How fabulous the new arrangement is for Northampton! Setup, traffic, level floors and lawns, covered walkways, the dining tent opposite – really it’s so brilliant and wonderful. It feels like the structure and physical organization of the show matches the quality of the art and it’s all a fit. I hope you’re totally proud. – Exhibitor
The Three County Fairgrounds is set against rolling hills by the majestic Connecticut River. Paradise City has a wonderful indoor/outdoor feel. The show is completely under cover and takes place almost entirely inside three modern airy barns connected by covered walkways.
A limited number of centrally located outdoor spaces are available for those artists showing large-scale sculpture and outdoor site-specific work. This area is called the Sculpture Promenade, and provides a beautiful setting for landscape oriented pieces, sculpture installations, greenery and a convenient resting area for attendees.
Paradise City furnishes wall-to-wall carpeting in all indoor spaces, dedicated exhibitor parking and easy load-in and load-out. 24-hour security is provided from set-up through break-down. Jewelry lockup and advance color promotional materials are provided at no charge. Full convention services, including pipe and drape rental and drayage, are available. Paradise City’s Festival Dining Tent, featuring some of Northampton’s most acclaimed restaurants and live music, provides an upscale respite for collectors navigating the show.
