Launched in 2020, the Paradise City Marketplace now provides a platform for Member artists to reach customers year-round. With Paradise City’s extensive email, digital marketing and social media campaigns, the Marketplace has averaged tens of thousands of storefront entrances monthly and increased artists’ e-commerce sales. The Marketplace

Members receive a free storefront in the Paradise City Marketplace that takes customers directly to your web or e-commerce site. Paradise City continuously promotes the Marketplace through e-mail, social media and digital advertising. It’s like a year-round virtual show for Paradise City Members

Since launching in April of 2020, the Paradise City Marketplace has averaged over twenty-two thousand visits per month to members’ e-commerce sites. Paradise City does not take any percentage of sales for items sold or traffic generated through the Marketplace.

Members can fully customize their storefront images and update their promotions as often as they like.

Paradise Perks! Email Marketing

Catch the eye of 40,000 collectors with your own custom storefront promotion! Building on our very popular show-specific Perks! campaigns, you can motivate customers to visit your website or e-commerce site with a promotional message that is displayed as they mouse over or touch your storefront image.

What a perfect day – the Paradise Marketplace Perks opened yesterday and already one quilt found a new home.

Could you offer a discount on selected inventory or new work that you would like to feature? Free shipping? How about a free print with the purchase of an original painting? This is not a one-size-fits-all marketing initiative. Get creative. The customer clicks on your promotion and they are taken directly to your e-commerce site to use your promotion.

“Pop-Up” Collections

The Marketplace “Pop-Up” Collections are curated selections of Paradise City Members organized around special themes. They bring a diverse collection of artists and makers together. Similar to online gallery shows, these “Pop-Up” shows can often introduce your work to new collectors drawn by the theme.

Pop-Up Collections are published online and promoted via extensive email campaigns and social media 4-6 times a year. View some of our recent special collections in the Marketplace.

Collectors’ Recognition Awards

Open only to Members, Paradise City is inaugurating the biannual Collectors’ Recognition Awards. Voting will take place online via the Paradise City Marketplace. All of our patrons – and yours – will be eligible to vote. Voters will be asked to judge both craft and art on the basis of design, technical skill, originality, and imagination.

Six Finalists will each receive jury exempt status for every Paradise City show for two years. The Finalists who receive the most votes in their category will be named First Prize winners, and will be awarded a free 10×10 booth at any one Paradise City show of their choice in the next year.

Award recognition for the First Prize Winners and Finalists will be widely promoted on social media, our website’s award page and via email. The winners/finalists are recognized with a Collectors Recognition Award certificate and an image link to the Award Page to post on their own websites.

Paradise City’s jury process has always been a search for excellence and originality, whether the work is made by a nationally prominent ceramist or an emerging sculptor fresh out of school.

Our “New Faces” promotions periodically highlight artists who are new to the Marketplace. These features include both artists brand-new to Paradise City and familiar faces who are new to Membership and looking forward to broadening their digital marketing reach.

Inside the Studio e-Newsletter

Paradise City publishes a newsletter several times a year promoting a range of Member artists’ studio events. Announcements are sent to our email list of over 40,000 collectors.

Studio events include Open Studios, Studio Tours and Virtual Studio Visits that we maintain on a Studio Visits page.
